Eduard Akhanov is a phenomenal accordion player. He distinguishes with his musical individuality and bright vividness in transmission of music, unique artistry and brilliant virtuosity.
Eduard activelly performs as a soloist at important concert venues in Russia, Finland, Latvia, China, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a participant of projects of creative school “Master-class”, “Young talents and stars of Russia”, a participant of the project SHOW DUET A2.
Eduard Akhanov was born in 1987 in the city of Taganrog. Music often sounded at his parents’ home and Eduard fell in love with the instrument and his fathers playing bayan. At the age of 8 he entered musical school specializing in bayan to a talented pedagogue V.L. Khlusova. Later on he graduated from Taganrog State Music School (2001-2005), in the form of honorable worker of secondary professional education of Russia, laureate of International competition of G.V. Galitskiy, Moscow State Institute of Music named after A. Schnittke (2006-2011), in the form of merited artist of Russia professor V.A. Semenov.
During the study he repeatedly took part and was the prize-winner of the most of prestigious Russian and international competitions, such as: Great Prize of Don (Russia), Petropavlovsk Assemblies of Harmonic (Russia), Klingenhtal (Germany), Jugoriya (Russia), Sata-Häme Soi (Finland), World cup (Scotland), Accoholiday (Ukraine).
